Reading List
Both Don and Greg are prolific authors, and here is a sampling of what they have written:
On Windows PowerShell
Don Jones has authored and co-authored some of the most popular and definitive books on Windows PowerShell, including Windows PowerShell: TFM (2nd Edition) and, for PowerShell v2, Windows PowerShell v2.0: TFM (3rd Edition). Both are available from SAPIEN Press and Amazon.com.
On VBScript
Don’s original and bestselling Managing Windows with VBScript and WMI (Addison-Wesley) is no longer in print (although you can still order copies from some booksellers). However, Sams’ VBScript, WMI, and ADSI Unleashed is basically the 2nd edition of that same book and is selling like gangbusters.
On Windows Server 2008
Greg Shields is the author of Windows Server 2008: What’s New | What’s Changed, a revolutionary book that seeks to actually leverage your existing skill set to learn what’s new in Windows Server 2008 – rather than forcing you to start from scratch with yet another 1,500-page doorstop.
