Funny. Even Visa Doesn’t Believe My Mac Purchase…

Here’s a great story:

A happy United Mileage Plus Visa cardholder for many years, I’ve never been flagged by their fraud prevention system for purchases…until today.  It turns out that my Mac Mini purchase was considered a suspect purchase.  About four hours after buying the computer over the Internet, I get a call from their fraud prevention line asking, “Gosh, Greg, did you really buy a Mac?”  Snarf!

Heh.  Things change.  People change.  Fraud prevention algorithms apparently don’t believe that long-held Microsoft aficionados can.
